[Video] The Perfect Date In Bali

From time to time, it is important to spend time with our loved ones. Today, I surprised Elena with a very special date.

Video Transcript

Wednesday afternoon – 4:00 p.m. And it’s date night!

I’m taking Elena on a dinner that a friend here in Bali helped me organize. Sometimes it’s good to just create memories, just the two of us. Tomorrow we’re leaving for the E under 30 trip. We’re going on a 45-minute scooter ride right now.

We survived an hour of traffic in Bali. All the way down to Jimbaran and now we’re looking for Kafe Kul Kul.

That’s the Wi-Fi satellite here. The internet satellite.

[Big screen and then they just watch. Last time we played a French movie.]

[We work so hard to make this place green. Before it was just rock.]

There was nothing green here before so all of this was planted. There was no grass.

Feels like being in paradise, especially after an hour and 10 minutes in traffic.

Very dangerous place here. A bat just flew this close to my face. Bit off some of my hair.

How is the food?

Elena: Amazing. And the view is gorgeous. Everything’s wonderful, this place is real.

And now it’s time for the strip loin beef.

So it’s now completely dark. Great food but also great conversations, feel very connected. We’re now going to head back to Bali traffic and head back to the villa where a friend of mine is arriving tonight.

There’s not an easy date night. If you want to take one thing away from this is spend time, uninterrupted time, with your loved ones. Create memories and moments. Especially, very often Elena and I just cook at home together and spend a bit of time. But tonight was a very
magical moment.

And with that, I’m off to the Indonesian traffic and I’ll talk to you tomorrow!
